Carol Edwards Community Center, Woodinville

JGM is the landscape architect and site planner on a multi-discipline team for this unique multi-phase project. In addition to the indoor community center facilities accommodated in an extensively remodeled former middle school, this project includes an outdoor sports complex, a loop trail, parking and a civic gateway feature.

JGM is responsible for the overall site design. The sports fields will be synthetic turf, with state of the art grandstands, fencing and utility connections for concession carts and sound systems. The fields, loop trail and parking will be illuminated for evening use. Upon completion, the community center will become an integral component of Woodinville’s municipal campus which includes the City Hall and Wilmot Gateway Park , also designed by JGM.

The project manager is David McNeal, FASLA. The project’s scope of services includes community involvement, design, contract documents and construction administration.
